Cevey used to work for him as a translator when she was just 22 years of age. They dated for a couple of years and got married in 1999. However, their marriage didn’t last long and they parted ways in 2006. Collins paid £25 Million to Cevey to settle his divorce with her.
Before Phil’s marriage with Cevey, he was married twice but both of his marriages ended in divorce. He was married to Andrea Bertorelli from 1975 to 1980 and to Jill Tavelman from 1984 to 1996. Mathew’s eldest sibling is Joely Collins who is Andrea’s daughter with her ex-partner. However, Collins adopted her when he got married to Andrea Bertorelli. Joely is 50 years of age and she is an actress. Mathew also has a half-brother Simon Collins whose parents are Phil Collins and Andrea. Simon is a musician and lead vocalist of the band ”Sound of Contact”. Phil had a daughter Lily Collins from his second marriage with Jill Tavelman. Lily is a well-known actress and model whose husband is America’s famous director and film maker Charles McDowell.
